Treating your hands, arms and shoulders
A hand therapist provides rehabilitation to the entire upper limb, including the hand, wrist, arm, elbow, and shoulder. A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is a licensed occupational therapist or physical therapist who has participated in advanced study. There are only 6,000 certified hand therapists worldwide.
When you lose function or have pain in your upper limb for any reason, including a permanent arm or hand limitation, our hand therapists will work closely with your doctor to identify your condition and then create a treatment plan aimed at increasing your function and range of motion while decreasing your pain.
